Sr. Design Engineer
Pewaukee, WI US
Job Description
RHM Technical Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Design Engineer for one of their clients in the Waukesha WI area. This is Direct Hire opportunity and can start immediately. Responsibilities will include:
-Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects, expected quality, and allotted budget.
-Provide critical review and guidance to teammate s analysis and design.
-Capable of critical thinking, long term planning, design and analysis to ensure success of projects.
-Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design
-Create accurate documentation to support NPI process including FMEA, DVP&R, BOM, Routing, 3D drawing, and instruction manuals.
-Define support equipment, fixtures, test methods, and parts from external suppliers.
-Provide high quality pre-sale, design-in, and post-sales technical support to customers.
Job requirements:
-Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related degree).
-7+ years related job experience in electromechanical design engineering.
-Understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
-Proficiency in 3D CAD: SolidWorks or Creo.
-Working knowledge of MRP preferably Epicor.
-Experience with National Instruments Labview software is a plus.
