Job Description
Responsible for implementation of corrective action plans and verification of solution effectiveness.
Black Belts will, in partnership with the site level financial services team, document the fiscal impact of solutions and maintain all appropriate data within the Operational Excellence project tracking system.
This individual will work cross functionally with all levels of the organization and with all departments.
II. Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:
Conduct Six Sigma DMAIC, Lean and Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) projects, leading teams to address business process problems and design new processes to achieve results.
Facilitate problem-solving and Work-Out sessions to lead teams to address issues not requiring the DMAIC approach
Mentor Green Belts in completing DMAIC projects
Instruct Six Sigma training classes for Green Belts and just in time training as needed
Conduct special data analysis projects as requested by management
Identify opportunities for Six Sigma projects and conduct analysis to scope projects
Facilitate project completion by Green Belts by recognizing and addressing organizational barriers
Coach site managers to establish performance measurement systems and goals aligned with organizational objectives
Establish Statistical Process Control charts where applicable and train process owners in their proper use
Work with process owners and IT resources to make data available to process owners and Green Belts for process improvement
Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams to enhance quality of services/ products
Conduct Kaizen Leader Training and mentor Kaizen leaders
Communicate frequently with Master Black Belt and Champions regarding project status, issues and accomplishments
Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System components relevant to this position.

Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree
Experience:
Black Belt certification desired
Experience applying Six Sigma and Lean techniques in a production environment as well as cross functionally
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
Demonstrated intermediate mathematical ability.
High level of attention to detail.
Excellent documentation skills.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
A full complement of business computer literacy skills (e.G., word processing, spreadsheets, database software etc.) is preferred.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects.
Works well in a team environment.
Works well under pressure and able to prioritize workloads.
Must be able to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and personalities within and between departments.
